Hello,
is there any way to display the ACF field in a block? For example, I have a gallery created via ACF for posts. I would like to display the gallery on the front end of the article. Is there any option without coding? Can GenerateBlocks do this?

Hi there,
GB does not support gallery field, you should be able to use ACF’s shortcode to display it.

And GB 2.0 is not possible in this version? I read that it can already display ACF fields.

Hi there,
GB Pro 2.0. should handle gallery fields. It would use the new Query block with a query type of Post Meta. I haven’t had time to test it but is should be possible.

Hello,
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but I’m not getting my ACF field through Post Meta
-
Make sue your ACF Field has REST API support enabled.
If it still doesn’t show in the Post Meta Key list, then simply type in the ACF Field name and add it. -

I have enabled ACF REST API. On Querry loop I set up an image and I set the dynamic data to Post Meta and field name, which I have in ACF. Still the fields I have for articles are not displayed.
-
The ACF Image – what is the Return Type ? Can you try try ID or URL
-

ACF field return type I tried ID, URL and Array, but still nothing.
-
Can you provide an admin login and link us to the ACF fields?
You can edit your first post on this topic, and add the info into the private info field. It will only be seen by the support team.

I am attaching the login data for the site. In any case, we have this same issue on another website, where it is not even possible to display simple text from ACF using the post meta in the Heading block.

Ah ok … you’re still using Version 1 blocks on the site.
You can switch to version 2 in the GenerateBlocks > Settings. Before doing so, I would suggest using a staging site for this. as the 2.0 plugins are still in Beta.

Hello,
Yes, I’ve already got it working somehow, I have 2 more questions:
1. Are all fields from ACF supported? Because one field is as a “repeater” and I don’t know how I would display it.
2. When I want to create a template via elements, for a separate article (or from an object created completely via ACF), I can’t select ACF fields and it doesn’t offer them. But if I don’t give a Curent post, and select a specific one, the ACF fields show up, but I want it for all the individual posts. -

Try using a query block and treat every group as a loop item.

GP elements do not have those custom fields, so when you are in GP elements and you are NOT in a query loop block, those custom fields won’t show, however, you can enter the post meta field name directly and save.

Hello,
I haven’t managed to get the values from the repeater through Querry yet. I would stop this thing for now and wait for the live version.

For the Repeater Field.
1. add a Query Block
1.1 set the query type toPost Meta query
1.2 in the meta key field and the repeater field name,2. in inside the Loop item block add a Text Block
2.1 set the Text Block Dynamic Tag toLoop Item
and set the Meta Key to one of your repeater field names3. Repeat step 2 for each separate field you require.
