Adding ad banner(s) to the side

  • BLOG SITE
This is a blog site I run, and I’d like to place ad banners (either my own or from third-party sources) in the large white margins on the left and right sides of the screen.

The problem is, I can’t use Google AdSense—probably because I sell PDFs and other content on my blog, so they keep rejecting my application.

I’ve also looked into a few alternatives, but my visitor count is too low for them to approve me as well (I get around 50–80 visitors per day).

Is there any way I can still place ads in those large empty margins?
At the very least, I’d like to promote books I’ve published or something like that.

  • Hi there,

I’m not familiar with ads stuff, but if you have the ads code, you can use 2 hook elements to store the ads code, and set the hook name to wp_footer, and we can use CSS to position them to the sides of the page.

  • Thanks, I did as you suggested and added custom css and it’s displaying well now. Thanks for the help.

  • Glad to hear that 🙂
