Ads.txt was not found

  • I want to enable Google Ads on my site. Should I add this code somewhere in the generatepress theme?

  • Hi there,

The ads.txt file should be placed in the root directory of your site. If you’re unsure how to do this, contact your hosting provider—they should be able to assist you with it.

  • ok, thanks. And how about placing Google Ads code on the site. It says: Copy and paste the AdSense code in between the <head></head> tags of your site. Place this code on every page across your site and Google will automatically show ads in all the best places for you.

Can you tell me how to do it quickly?

  • Create a new Hook Element, set the Hook to wp_head, and apply the Display Rules to “Entire site.”

Inside the content area, insert your AdSense code, ensuring it’s wrapped in <script> tags.
