align block element contents with page contents

  • Sandstone0379

    Hi,
I have a block element attached the ‘above header’ hook. I would like to align the contents of the block element with the page contents. I have clicked the global button in the max-width setting for the child container in the block element. This has brought the contents away from the far left hand side of the screen. However, it is not aligned with the page contents. How can I do this?

  • Hi there,

    1. You do not need to use Grid block for this simple layout, you can directly add the 2 headline blocks into the parent container, and set left/right padding of the container to 20px to match the content container’s settings.

    2. Set the topbar container to display:flex so the 2 headlines can be on the same row.

    3. If you want to add some spacing between the 2 headlines, select the parent container and add some column-gap in the layout panel.

Let me know if this helps!
