Always show caption field

  • Hello:

Since we have switched to GeneratePress, to add a caption to an image in the editor, whether individual or gallery, we have to press a button:

    Caption field button

Before, the caption field always appeared below the image, to be filled in. Is it possible to keep this field always visible in GeneratePress?

    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

thats the core Image Block, and thats how WP choose to update that.
The simplest solution is when you add a image block, and select the image in the media library, whilst in the media attachment add your Caption there. And WP Will automatically include it on the page for you.

  • Ok, thanks!
