Hi,
We have a category How To and within that a number of types of how to posts, each with its own tag. I’d like to show a list of all How To posts within tag1, or all how to posts within tag2 etc.
I can do this on a page using a query loop with a parameter set as Taxonomy>Category>How To and an additional paramater as Taxonomy>Tag>Tag1, but this would only show x number of posts (set by the query loop), I’d like to have an “all how to posts in tag 1” archive list, is this possible?
I could create a separate page, each with its own query loop as above, one for each tag, but is there a more robust way?
(to be honest I’m surprised there isn’t a WordPress ability to filter category archive lists by tag, am I missing something?) -

Hi Kip,
The automatically created archive pages by WordPress are only for a specific category or tag – not a combination of both.
You would need to create a new Page and add a GB Query Loop Block. A GB Query Loop Block should be able to query all posts of a category and tag.
There’s a Posts per page setting as well. Reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/#query-parameters
Moreover, you can also add pagination by clicking on the
+
icon in the toolbar. This should allow you to paginate the Query Loop Block, showing all posts. -
Thanks, I was unsure how to add the pagination, this expanation helped! We can close this ticket.
