Hi, in the author bio box (I modified the standard one) I’m not able to display the Linkedin logo and, thereafter, to grab the linkedin meta to correctly link to my social profile…
What can I do?
THANKS!

Hi there,
can I see this author box on your site ?
-
Christiano
Hi David, do you need access to my site?
Anyway I just posted two screenshots that perhaps will help…
-
I found this old topic:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/single-post-page-hero-scribe-theme/#post-2402449
That method should still work?
As a note you can simply duplicate your Email icon and swap the Dynamic Data value and then icon. -

Hi David, I copied the email icon and used all the information gathered from the old topic but it doesn’t work! 😞
You can’t even see the “Linkedin” icon…
Here are all the settings: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cm49inswmzqa8lp/Screenshot%202023-11-16%20alle%2010.23.18.png?dl=0
Please, help me…
THANKS! -
If you edit the linkedin Button, and temporarily disable the Dynamic Data.
Then in the blocks toolbar > Link field just add:#
Save that.
Does the button show ?If it does – edit the button and enable the dynamic data.

Christiano
Yep, now the button shows up…
-
Now can you enable the dynamic data
-
Christiano
Oh my… if I enable the dinamic data the Linkedin button disappears! See the attached screenshot.
-
Edit the Dynamic Data and where it says
CONTENT SOURCE
– remove that – so it just saysselect

It still doesn’t work… What else could I try?

Can you share a temporary admin login to the site ?
