Background image color of container sometimes visible

  • Hi, on my homepage, I use a container with two headlines (the hero image). It also has a dark blue background color set.

When I look at my desktop or mobile, this looks fine. I see the image only with a blue opacity, as intended. But on a tablet on when I resize the screen I see the background color as bar below and above the image.

What are the correct settings that these bar never appear> eg the background color area is always the same as the image?

  • Hi Gerrit,

Set the Background-size to cover. The setting you have right now won’t work.

  • That did the trick. Thank you.

  • You’re welcome, Gerrit!
