Background Image full height in 2 columns

  • I have two columns, one with an image and one with text. I would like to place a background image in the left-hand column, which becomes larger or smaller depending on the length of the text in the right-hand column.

What do I have to set so that the background image of the left container is displayed 100% in the height of the right container?

I have set the image to cover and given the container a height of 100%, but nothing happens.

    Any help?
