Background Image Opacity

Hi team,

My Home Page Banner container has a Purple background colour, but I want to add a pattern image over it and reduce the patterns opacity, so that it becomes just a faint effect on the purple background.

As the main container is solid purple, I have placed my image of a lined pattern on the Grid container. However, the pattern is way too strong, so I want to adjust the opacity. But I can’t seem to find how to do this in the Background settings. How can I make the pattern fade.
