Hi there,

GP doesn’t interfere with Woocommerce page’s templates, you might need to look for a plugin which can define custom cart/checkout templates.

I understand, but in the demo pages these baskets look different. Is it possible to somehow import the appearance of the cart from another store demo?

The icon can be changed in Appearance > Customize > Layout > WooCommerce > Menu Item Icon. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/woocommerce-overview/
