Blank container (min-heigth) doesnt render. Need to save white space area

  • For my ad network to insert an ad in a specific place without a page shift, I need to insert a div with a min height of 250px. What i am finding is the div/container never makes it to the browser.

If you know how to do that, you can skip the rest of my rambling. ha

I put a container in, set min-height to 250px and it displays in wordpress editor. But then even with refreshing all of my caches(cloudways breeze) it just never makes it into the rendered browser page.

in the container i then added a TEXT block and typed more words. Nothing!

    Am i misunderstanding containers?

Admittedly I think something else is going on as i tried Custom HTML with a css style and div tag… the style gets into the page but again, not the div! I even added a span tag within the div so it wouldnt be empty… nothing.

evidence would say cache? but ive cleared it all

(Ive had GP pro and now ONE for years but didnt put the effort into converting my main site, which i am doing now)

Edit: added image of editor showing the space properly. tag never makes it to the client browser

  • Hi there,

evidence would say cache? but ive cleared it all

Sounds like cache. Try disablling them instead of clearing them.

Let me know how it goes!

If it still doesn’t work, can you provide an admin login and hand it to us with all plugins disabled?
