I am seeing more often than not that design in Block Elements load broken after updating it. Tested this with caching enabled and not. Even with no caching (except CloudFlare free), a few sites are starting to show this behaviour. Anyone shed some light what it may be? Hosting perhaps?
Running Nginx using mostly Redis Page Caching but have disabled caching and still happening.

Could it be that we need to regenerate GenerateBLocks external css file? What if we set this to inline embedding.

It’s a cache issue.
Can you go to generateblocks > settings, and change the CSS print method to inline?

Hi Ying. I thought so. Setting to inline seems to fix the problem.
So external is meant for optimization? How do we utilize this? Maybe only enable external after making updates?

Inline and external don’t really make a difference in terms of performance anymore, as we’ve implemented a new method to generate CSS.
Unless you have thousands of lines of CSS, otherwise, I would recommend keeping it inline.

Come to think of it, is there an easy way to switch all GP & GB settings to Inline? Hoping I don’t have to log in to every site and flip the switch manually in GB and Customizer for GP.

For GP, you can go to customizer > general, and set Dynamic CSS Print Method to inline embedding 🙂
