I’ve seen other tickets about this but I am still confused. I’m not able to add Block labels to new containers, though they still appear for previously created ones. We have found these very helpful for site admins to find things while in List View. I saw a ticket that mentions changes in the WordPress code as the problem. What is the current status on this? Is there a different way to add block labels/names now? Again, I am referring to being able to add labels that appear within the admin list view.

Hi there,
The Block Label has been deprecated since GB 1.9, you can use the Block Name instead. Please refer to this reply here:

But where do I find the Block Name? Under ‘advanced’ I only see : HTML ANCHOR, TAG NAME and ADDITIONAL CSS CLASS(ES)

What WordPress version are you currently on?

Version 6.4.3

Okay, that seems to be the cause. Some users reported the same issue on WP 6.4, but they resolved it by upgrading to WP 6.5.

Thanks, that did it.
