Blog Page Image Sizes

  • Hi there,

Can you please tell me why the images in my blog appear in different sizes after I’ve selected a specific image size in the customizer for blog images?

    Many thanks in advance,

  • Hi there,

The images look the same size to me, all of them are using 620px as width.

Let me know if I miss anything.

  • That’s what I thought. But the images change size when viewed on a mobile device?

  • It depends on how wide the mobile device’s screen is, 620px would exceed most of the mobile screen, so it will use 100% as width for the mobile, but the height attribute you set which is 350px is still valid, so the images will still go 350px as the height.

Some of the image gets cut off particularly because the aspect ratio of the image is no longer contained on mobile due to the fixed image size.

Do you want the image to be the same height? If it’s not necessary, I would recommend leaving the height attribute blank, so it can adjust automatically.

  • Perfect. Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
