bulk change paragraph blocks to text blocks

Thanks for confirming; unfortunately, everything I need is what the WP paragraph blocks don’t provide and there’s no way to implement a copy/paste action for something like a line break list of items where applying the div tag to remove that wretched paragraph break margin in the default WP paragraph block.

This is used all the time for my client base (nonprofits) that need to create donor lists that are hundreds to thousands of names long. Fitting that many names into lists requires using all of the styling options GP Text Blocks provide and my clients don’t have the skills to maintain something like a CSS hacked OL list. They need to just copy and paste. It would be amazing if GP could accommodate this need with their text blocks.

Unfortunately, that’s not something my clients will ever remember how to do so yes, it’s an option but one that requires far too high a skill set for average content managers. I’ve mentioned this a few times already but it’s a direction I keep seeing GP move and it’s losing sight of the fact that day to day content managers can’t keep up with these increasing skills demands. They need better solutions. The bulk apply tool to convert default WP paragraph blocks is something obtainable, telling them to remember where to even find the settings to modify a container’s selector isn’t.
