Bulk Update Containers from Legacy

  • Is there a way to bulk update containers from legacy to current?

I am opening up an older site with lots of containers and wondering if there is a way to update my containers site-wide at once. The default suggestion when doing them one at a time has been spot on every time so I feel good about doing it across the whole site.

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

unfortunately not, its a a block by block update process. Trying to do it automatically would require a database search and replace, and that could. not be done with the checks the block editor performs.
As a general note : its. not a requirement to update them, you can just do it when you need to use the newer layout settings.

  • Got it. That is what I thought, but I had to ask.

    Thanks!

  • Always good to ask 🙂
