Cannot edit button text in footer element

  • Hi,

I cannot edit the button in the footer element. I can edit other parts of the footer element, but not the button. Can you suggest anything? Thanks.

  • Hi there,

Is that part inserted via a shortcode or a form plugin’s block?

Can you link us to your site?

  • Please see temp login link below.

    Thanks

  • Hi Msouthon,

You seem to have marked this topic as resolved. To clarify, would you still need assistance regarding this? If so, can you un-toggle “Mark this topic as resolved” and re-share the link to the site in question?

  • Please see login link below

  • I see. That’s odd. It’s like some Editor bug. The class is correct and the styling code is there but it isn’t reflecting somehow. If you try recreating the Button from scratch does the same issue occur?

  • I don’t know how to re-create the button. It’s the button that was in the Footer Element for the GP ‘theme’ that I am using. All I did was change the color. But Core Web Vitals (CWV) is telling me there is not enough contrast between the text on the button and the background color of the button. CWV is marking me down for that error. And that’s why I need to edit that button. Thanks.

  • I see. Can I recreate it on my own on your site?

  • Yes, that would be great, thanks!

  • Great. I have updated it. Can you check?

  • Awesome! Thank you so much 🙂

  • You’re welcome! 🙂
