I cannot get a button to display the correct styles. I’ve applied a different color background and font for both the normal and hovered states, but it doesn’t not show up when I load the page. It appears correctly in the preview of the editor, but not on the live page. The button should be gold with dark navy blue lettering.
I’ve configured this button the same as I’ve done other buttons, and I’ve tried deleting it and recreating it. There must be something I’m overlooking. Can you assist?

Try removing those colors from the Customizer, they usually create more problems that they solve. Use the Body colors for the links instead.

That changed the color links but it did not do anything to the background color. “Watch the Latest Episode” is supposed to look like a button, but it has a transparent background even though I’ve set it to gold.

Hi,
While inspecting the button link in the front end, I am not seeing any background color assigned like you show in the screenshot. I tried editing the page to see it in details but you seem to be editing it right now. Let me know when you are done so I could have a look.

That’s what I mean. The background color is set in the page but it doesn’t appear on the front-end. You can take a look at the page now if you like. I’ll stay out of it until I hear back.

You are using Post content to dynamically pull the content into the homepage’s carousel, GB does not have Post content dynamic tag, did you add it via custom code? If so, I think that’s why the styles are not working as the dynamic tag you are using only pulls the content, not the styles.
I think your best bet is to create a global style for the class

Okay, I’ll create a custom class that I apply.

Great! Let us know if that doesn’t work.
