Using latest version of GeneratePress theme. No child themes. Recently I have noticed that when I create a page or post (or any custom post type) using the block editor the title of the page is not editable. I checked customization and all seems ok nothing out of ordinary.
I activatated Classic Editor and there I can add a title.

That’s strange, but GP doesn’t have control over the block editor, so it’s likely not a GP issue.
I would recommend disabling all your plugins to test first, if the issue disappears, then re-activate plugins one at a time to see which one is causing the issue.

I deactivated all plugins and issue still exists. It works fine with the classic editor so it has to be something weird with my wordpress install.

I fugured it out! It’s a block editor general preference to “Use theme styles”. If that option is turned on then the title disappears. Maybe a bug with the Generate Press theme since that is what we are using.

When I turn off theme styles all is well with the world.

In that case, you might’ve turned the title off or set the title color to the same as the background color in the theme settings.
