Hi team,
As I have expressed several times, I can’t get along with the new Generateblocks V2. Too fiddly, buggy and too far removed from WordPress.
To avoid using it I have only been using the older Starter Sites and then adding theadd_filter('generateblocks_use_v1_blocks', '__return_true');' to revert back to V1.This code was working previously, but I have just installed the older ‘Driver’ site and even with the Settings set to use V1, all the blocks are V2.
Does this mean that none of the Starter Sites can be reverted back to V1 now or is there another code I have to use to remove V2?Thanks

Hi there,
The filter should load the Version 1 sites. After adding the filter, make sure to refresh the Site Library on the import page to ensure that the Version 1 sites are displayed before proceeding with the import.

Hey Alvind,
I did this and ‘Drive’ is (or was) a V1 site. Yet the Blocks are all V2?
I tried installing again and still they are V2? -
Could you provide temporary site login so I can take a closer look?

That seems to have fixed it, thanks. What was going on?

I simply clicked the Refresh Sites button, and the V1 versions then loaded. It seems the V2 site list was cached earlier.

I see, so the ‘Refresh Sites’ button clears the cache for the sites. Good to know, I didn’t know that was there. Thanks Alvind.
