Good morning,
I would like to change the layout of my website.
Right now it looks like this: https://prnt.sc/Y2vqgrKuLXjN
I would also like to add the subtitle of the article instead of the summary and add a button inside the container to read the article.
If you can help me with directions I would be grateful.

Hi there,
simplest option is to design your own Block Element – Content Template in Appearance > Elements:

Can you guide me to achieve this requested layout?
The video you sent me follows a structure that is not exactly what I intended.

Hi Afonso,
That’s a fairly simple layout. Here’s a screen recording I made to help you get it started: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uJ8AwW

Good morning,
I did all the steps you did in the video but I have 2 questions:
1- I couldn’t find my subtitle here: https://prnt.sc/llDE8-bUNCph
2- When I saved the changes, the changes did not appear on the home page: https://prnt.sc/xWtdYNIiMPA4

#1 How did you add your subtitle specifically?
#2 Can you share the link to the site in question?

Hey how’s it going?
1#- I created a block element for the subtitle
2# The website is http://redeardente.com/
-
Is the element type set to content template?
And please remove the
entire site
from the location list. -

This is the subtitle element: https://prnt.sc/QGufrvSlRfrO
Ok, I already did what you asked me to do!
-
I asked:
Is the element type set to content template?
Please set the element type to content template!

I managed to do what you asked me to do, but now the website layout looks like this: https://prnt.sc/GTSqWcjaCVrZ
-
What’s wrong with it?

I would like to create something like this: https://prnt.sc/F_nh4sCcdqFs
Like a white background behind the content, a read more button and the subtitle below the article title.
-
Edit your Block Element Content Template, and Add a Container Block to the editor.
Then move ALL the other blocks ie. Image, Sub Title, Title etc. inside the Container Block.Once that is done.
Select the Container Block and set the
Spacing > Padding eg. 20px
Border > Radius eg. 10px
Colors > Background eg. White.Select the Image Block
Border > Radius eg. 10px
Effects add a Box ShadowDo that and let me know

I just did what you told me: https://prnt.sc/MxpCU97UCx27
Now you’re closer to your goal, but there’s still a bit to go 🙂
I await recommendations David.

The Image block add Spacing > Margin Bottom to put space below it.
Each Headline block you added, you can adjust:
a) the Typography to set font sizes
b) the Spacing > Bottom Margin to set a smaller or larger space below the text. The Button
a) Layout > Display set to Flex, and Justify Content Center;
b) Sizing > Width set to100%
c) Spacing > Padding, reduce the Top and Bottom padding.
d) Border > Border radius set the radius value eg. 6px
e) Typography – adjust the font accordingly.
