Is there a simple way to change all social media links in sidebar widget and footer element to “follow.” The default is rel=”noopener nofollow”.

Hi there,
It looks like you’re using a third-party block for that Social Icon. You should contact the developer of the block you’re using, as they likely have a method to modify the
rel
attribute value. -

Yes, I changed it as the simple social did not allow changes to nofollow.

It seems like this is the plugin you’re currently using:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-icons-widget-by-wpzoom/I found this discussion on their support forum that might help with your issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/adding-relme-to-link/

Thanks for that. Yeh, the native social media plugin for generate press does not have proper settings, so I went with the social icons widget. Can I remove the native simple social media from the theme?
On an unrelated question… Semruch is sayiing have low text-HTML ratio on most pages. Is this theme driven or how the page and sidebars are setup?

I’m not sure what this is; the theme does not have a social media plugin.

A low text-to-HTML ratio means your webpage has too much code compared to the visible text content.
However, when I check your site, it doesn’t seem to have excessive codes. -

Thank you.
