For the Shop theme (soap shop)…I have multiple authors that write for the blog. I created users for each and set them all to editors. When I uploaded a draft and changed the author to be one of them I noticed in preview the author bio doesn’t change at all. Will this update when I publish or how does the author byline change for this theme?

Hi there,
The author bio is not dynamically set, you need to modify the element called Author Bio, and enable the dynamic data.
1. Remove the current author image block, and add a GB image block, enable dynamic data, set it to author avatar.
2. For the author description paragraph, enable dynamic data, and set it to author meta >
description.

Thanks Ying, that worked perfect! Any suggestions on the social link SEO tool, are you talking about something like Yoast does this?

Yes, Yoast adds custom fields to user profile, you can add the social media link for each user and pull them with GB headline or button.
