Hi there,
As for Chinese, the exerpts cannot be truncated correctly in archive page when I set up the the length to even very short such as 10+ or below 20, English exerpts work well.
I tried many exerpts plugins but don not work well.
Please clarify how can I fix it.

it works，but not responsive quickly in the frontend, this does not matter
the problem is Chinese character set in the “Read more label” cannot appear with this snippet, it transformed into english “Read More”, why? -
How did you set up the read more button?
Are you using the theme default or a block element?
