Are there still any Classic-Editor-friendly starter sites, as the ones that used to be available previously, like Classic, Artisan, etc?

Unfortunately, there are no site templates built with the classic editor.

Those starter sites have been deprecated because they rely on a legacy plugin that is no longer maintained, unfortunately.
