I was wondering how you change the color above the search bar such as the blue on generatepress.com?

Actually that was a bad example. Here’s an example, how do I change the color above the search bar on mobile like the blue on https://www.lowes.com/ when you scroll? Sorry I meant to specify it’s only on mobile.

Hi there,
Not sure I understand, I don’t see blue color above search bar when scrolling, the site has a sticky search bar:https://app.screencast.com/U0dIhclPhRaLv
Can you show me a screenshot of what you mean?

If you have a mobile phone and you look up the generate press support webpage you’ll notice that when you scroll down the white color above the search bar on the phone (where the website is displayed) turns navy blue above the search bar on the phone in mobile…I was wondering how to do that.
I attached two photos one before u scroll and one after showing the color change. Several websites do it but this is just one example. I’m just not sure how to attach the screenshot to show you.

Thanks Ying, I wasn’t sure how to provide links to the images, I just took a screen shot on my mobile photo to show you. Another example of a website is https://cotopaxi.com, but it’s only in mobile and I have an iphone. When the page comes up the color around the website https:// on search bar is black but when you scroll down the entire top part above the search bar on my iphone turns blue, I was just wondering how to do that. Not sure if that makes sense.

I do not see it, I wonder if it’s a setting on your phone specifically.
Here’s a screen record of my iPhone:https://app.screencast.com/wvAWFJqyAlNaF

I found that it is a setting for Safari, because I tried opening a website that showed the color in Safari and it didn’t show it in the other application. So now I’m curious even though it only works on one application like Safari and is related to the setting on the phone, how do you get the color to show up on Safari, there must be something associated with the site that allows it to show up. Maybe it’s the sticky menu? It’s not that important though so no big deal if can’t figure out – just wanted to pass the info along of what I found out.
Apple says to see the color above the search bar to do this on iphone: https://support.apple.com/en-my/guide/iphone/ipha9ffea1a3/ios

I don’t know, it’s a question for the Apple geniuses 🙂
