Content layout adjustment

  • Hello. How do I adjust content layout size? My navigation drop point is 1100px and mobile breakpoint is 800px however the content does not drop to tablet mode until the browser gets much smaller. How do I get the content to drop to tablet mode at a custome size?

  • Hi there,

however the content does not drop to tablet mode until the browser gets much smaller

Can you link me to your site where I can inspect this issue?

    Let me know 🙂

  • Sure, thanks.

  • The drop point and mobile breakpoint are both behaving normally.

however the content does not drop to tablet mode until the browser gets much smaller.

since your mobile breakpoint is set to 800px, so only if the screen is narrower than 800px or equals to 800px, the menu will turn into a hamburger icon.

Many tablets are wider than 800px, so it’s expected that the menu will not turn to hamburger icon on tablets. If you want, you need to reduce the mobile breakpoint to at most 768px.

  • I’m not concerned about the menu, I’m concerned about the content. How do I get the content to transition into tablet mode sooner. My example website drops to tablet mode layout much sooner than my content. How do I match the example website?

  • Hi there,

You’ll need to adjust the content layout for tablet view directly in the block editor.

For example, in the Hero section grid, switch to Tablet breakpoint edit mode and set the Grid Template Columns to 1fr. This will make the layout match the example site on tablets.

You’ll need to do the same for any other sections that need adjustment.

  • Thank you

  • You’re welcome 🙂
