Hi,
I’m trying to create an anchor link in version 2.0. I want to make it possible to click on a container and have the view jump to a heading within the article. This is possible with plain text. However, I can’t find a way to assign an anchor link to an entire container.
I entered under HTML ID for the container: #linkname
and for the heading where the link should jump to, also under HTML ID: linknameBoth, the container and the heading were already created with the new, blue version 2.
I looked at this article: https://learn.generatepress.com/blocks/block-guide/add-container-links/#
but it doesn’t seem to work for 2.0 anymore, does it?Is this the only way to set anchor links? With global styles?
Thanks

Hi there,
Can I see the section you’ve created?

Hey,
in the attached video, I show the section I am currently working on. At the top, I have my current container with the new blocks (the blue ones), and at the bottom, I have copied a container from another article where the links are working. I don’t understand why I can’t set links in my current container at the top.
Thank you! -

Hi there,
The Add Container Link toolbar shortcut was deprecated in V2, which is why you no longer see it. Now, the correct way to add a container link is as explained in the article you mentioned in your first post.
