Custom Search Modal

  • Greetings everyone,

I’d like if it’s possible to create my own element for search modal.

    I did this:

I’ve created a button or shape (I use the latest version of GP Premium & GPBlocks) and I’ve put in html attributes data-gpmodal-trigger=”gp-search” as I read here

Although I found out that it’s not woking unless if I have enabled the option from Customizing ▸ Layout
Primary Navigation Enable navigation search modal

Enabling this option is not something I need since I’m trying to make my own area for the search modal and not use the default one.

    Any clues?

  • Hi there,

That attribute only works if the search model is enabled, so it’s JS and CSS can kick in.

If you are going to create your own, you will need to write your own JS and CSS.
