Customize 404 page

Hi everyone,

I’m using the GeneratePress Premium theme on my WordPress site, and I’d like to customize my 404 page. My goal is to create a unique 404 page with custom text, an image, and a button that redirects visitors back to the homepage.

Here’s what I’ve considered or tried so far:

I checked the Customizer but couldn’t find specific options for the 404 page.
I’m familiar with hooks and using a child theme, but I’m not exactly sure which steps I should take to customize the 404 page properly.
Any tips, code examples, or links to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated!
