customizer colors not applying consistently across devices

  • I’m experiencing content link and hover colors applying inconsistently when set in the customizer. Notice the bolded text in the About section should (according to the customizer) be red-ish accross devices. It renders correctly on phone front end as well as on edit pages, but not on desktop front end. The main menu current colors are also not behaving as expected. I have made some customizer css adjustments which may be throwing things off. I’ll give site address and admin creds below. Thank you.

They are, this is what I see on the desktop:

The navigation colors are also showing as expected. Some of your menu items are anchor links on the homepage, so they are using the current color you set in the customizer.

  • Thank you, Ying. I opened a different browser and now see the colors are responding correctly. I do most of my development on Safari (don’t like having Chrome on my computer). I cleared my cache multiple times and still get the same result in Safari, so seems to be a Safari issue. For grins, could you check the page in Safari for me on your end?

I didn’t realize using anchor links took those menu items out of the Customizer menu settings. I’ll target them a different way. Thank you!

I checked your site in Safari, the links are using the correct color as well.

  • Thanks. I’ll keep testing.

  • No Problem 🙂
