Hey everyone,
So I’m trying to create my first website, and have been for a couple weeks actually. I keep switching between themes as well as between the customizer and editor, simply because I can’t decide on what’s best. I can’t seem to get a hang of the customizer and the Full Site Editor seems much easier, but I’ve recently learned that GB Pro which I’ve bought a couple days ago works most optimal on the customizer.
What do you guys recommend I do? Work with the editor with the options available with the editor, or switch to the customizer anyway and spend more time learning how to work it?
What I personally don’t like about the customizer is the lack of… flexibility? when designing the website. The FSE allows for drag-and-drop block building which is wonderful, while the customizer seems to be very limited to someone who’s not very acquainted with it yet. But I would love to be able to make use everything GB Pro has to offer, like the native search module that I’ve learned can’t be used in the editor.
I’m curious to read what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
You don’t actually need to use the customizer now with the GP Premium plugin and the Generateblocks plugins, other than the colors and typography.
You can use GP’s element module (appearance > elements) to create content templates for posts/pages and loop templates for archives, you can also create a custom site header/site footer using elements.
Here’s GP’s YouTube channel, you should be able to find demo videos:https://www.youtube.com/generatepress
