Desactivate elements – Something is wrong

  • Hi
After the latest GeneratePress update, I’m trying to deactivate the page title directly in the Page settings. However, when I press “Save,” nothing happens! It reverts to the previous state and doesn’t save.

Could this be related to the latest update?

I tried the same thing on a different page, and the same issue occurred.

  • Hi there,

That’s odd. We haven’t received any reports of an issue like this.

Do you have a caching plugin active on your site? If so, try deactivating it to see if that resolves the issue.

  • I did this. I tested disabling the plugin cache. Problem continued.

It seems to me that only the generatepress fields are not recording.

Only “Layout” definitions are not saving (inside page edition). Very strange

  • Alright, the next step is to check for potential plugin conflicts. Could you deactivate all plugins except GP Premium and see if the issue persists?

  • Solved.
In fact, it was a plugin generating conflict (Smart Marketing SMS and Newsletters Forms, E-Goi).

    Thank you and sorry.

  • No problem, glad to hear that!
