Wanted your opinion about building a directory website (tourism) with only GP and GB ? What would you be your recommendations? What would you use to build such a website ?

Espexially how do you define “directory”? -
Difficult to give you a specific example, but there is plugins/themes that offers prebuilt stuff that looks like something I want to do like this for example : https://listinghive.hivepress.io/listings/
But I want to do it from scratch to keep it lightweight.
A directory is basically a data base you can filter and give you the result you’re looking for. In my case it would feature hotels, tours, restaurants, etc.

You will need to use a 3rd party filter plugin if you wish to use GB’s query block to query the custom post types.
Other than that, it should be straightforward.

Thanks, I’m thinking about using the plugin ACPT (Custom post types plugin). Do you know if both ACPT and GP/GB are working well together?

I don’t know.
A more common plugin for that is ACF, and it works well with GP/GB.
