Disable default query loop

  • Hi,

Im creating an element with the template for the author page, so I would like to disable the default query loop on that page or any specific page.

How and where can I do that?
    Thank you.

  • Hi there,

If you’re creating a Loop Template and assigning it to a specific location, like an archive page, it should indeed replace the default loop on that archive page by default. This means your custom Loop Template will take over the display of posts for that archive.

Is there something unique about your scenario, or are you seeing the default loop still being rendered?
