Display search term on custom search page (GP element) pages

  • Hi guys! Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else but I could not find it. Seems like it would be a simply thing.

I have created a GP block element to customize the Search Results pages. I want to display the visitor’s search term as the heading of the page.

An example – This is a results page where “Superman” is the search term: https://dianam37.sg-host.com/?s=Superman

Between the “Search Results” tag is suppose to be a h1 heading that would read “Superman”. Is this possible? How do we do this? What is the piece of dynamic data we plugin in to make this work?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi there,

You can use WP’s search results title block.

  • Of course! Didn’t know that was available. Thanks! Knew it had to be a easy solution.

  • You are welcome   🙂
