Do not see option to choose a parent page in editor

  • When I create a new page on my site (using GP premium), I suddenly do not see the option to choose a parent page. Not sure where to go from here…cleared my cache, etc.

  • Hi there,

The pages page is part of WP admin, it is not something the theme controls.

Can you disable all plugins to test?

  • OK..I disabled some but will now disable all of them.

  • Let me know if that works!

  • Tried disabling all of them, then re-installing one by one. For some reason it now gives me the option to choose a parent page, but not sure why, still think it must have something to do with Yoast SEO. I see this [wpseo_breadcrumb] at the top of my home page just below the menu (home page only) when viewing my site (not in the editor).

I suppose this has to do with YOAST and not GP.

  • No, GP does not have control over the breadcrumbs from SEO plugins.

  • Thanks…thought my problems were from YOAST.

  • No Problem 🙂
