Element on the top left side when you scroll down

  • Hi, I created an element block hook after header. I would like it to be on the side of the page et not on the top so you see it when you scroll down. Help please?

  • Hi there,

    1. edit the Element, and select the Container Block.
    In the block settings Advanced > Additional CSS Classes add: fixed-overlay
    Save that change.

    2. Add this CSS:

    .fixed-overlay {
        position: fixed;
        pointer-events: none;

    Which will fix it in position.

    What do you want to happen on mobile or smaller screens ?

  • Thanks. I am going to try!
    No I don’t it to happen on mobile or smaller scrrens.

  • You could hide the element on Mobile if you wanted.
    To do that, select the Container Block and where you added: fixed-overlay add: fixed-overlay hide-on-mobile instead.

    Glad to be of help

  • thanks. Should I add the CSS on the container block or the inner container block? And also my image is just on the left but it covers the all page since my container is the width of the page. I just wanted the image on the left (limited discount).
    Also, how do I hide on mobile?

  • If you select the Container Block, and in Advanced > Additional CSS Classes add:

    fixed-overlay hide-on-mobile

    This will fix it in position and hide it on mobile.

    Then add this CSS to the site:

    .fixed-overlay {
        position: fixed;
        pointer-events: none;
  • thanks!

  • You’re welcome
