Emoji messing up layout within pattern

  • So, I discovered something on my site. When emojis are used within paragraphs in the post loop, no problem.

    Within a local pattern based on global styles, an emoji that is supposed to show up at the end of a sentence with the rest flowing afterwards turns the first sentence into a column, the emoji into another column and the rest of the text into a third column.

    What the…

    This didn’t happen before and I can’t identify a change on my side that may have triggered this – except that I suspect that upgrading to GB 2.0 really didn’t help.

  • I really don’t understand that. Tried it with multiple browsers here and I see something totally different than you do.
