Entry Meta Template Issue

  • Greetings,

I am having a bit of a strange issue with the entry meta template (within the Elements menu editor).

Earlier today I needed to make a quick change to my custom site-wide entry meta template by simply removing one of the pages from the exclude display list. When I saved that, seemingly other code changed as well (perhaps new GP CSS or block settings that updated once I saved / updated the entry meta template?)

In any case, my entry meta template now looks different and despite my best efforts, I am not able to revert it back to its original design / layout.

I’m including the specific links in the private info.

Please let me know if I can provide any other information.

  • Hi there,

Select the parent container of the Grid block, set display to default instead of flex.

  • Thanks, Ying!

That does get everything to 2 lines, but it created a bunch of new spacing issues.

    See example here – https://naplab.com/mattress-reviews/winkbed-review/

  • I’m not seeing the changes, can you clear the cache?

    Let me know 🙂

  • The cache was cleared previously, but I will clear it a 2nd time now to be sure.

  • What is the issue?

The image column is too wide? If so, you can reduce the column width, it’s currently being set to 20%, try setting it to 10% or 50px to test.

  • It’s supposed to look like this – https://i.imgur.com/u19tc8N.jpeg

However, after some update to GP settings it now looks like this – https://i.imgur.com/dgVhE9a.jpeg (at least on some pages…seemingly those over a certain number of characters)

When I implemented your recommended change it now looks like this – https://i.imgur.com/upjLzXt.jpeg

  • You can close this topic. I have found an alternate solution. Thank you.
