Featured image not showing in RSS feed

    I have not been able to get the featured image for a CPT to show up in the RSS feed. I’m pasting a typical URL for a CPT and the php code in functions for generating the RSS feed. We are getting all the post types and the excerpts, but not the feature image/thumbnail.

    Hi Michael,

    I checked the XML on https://your-site.com/feed/; it looks like your custom code is not running at all.

    How did you add the code? Is it in your child theme’s functions.php file? And do you have SEO plugins, as those plugins might override RSS templates?

    Just so you know, GP does not interfere with WordPress RSS feeds, so we don’t have control over RSS-related issues, unfortunately!
