Flex Containers – where are they?

  • Hi,

I would like to use flex containers.

Maybe a dump question, but where do I find the “flex container” block.

    I am using

    • GeneratePress 3.5.1
    • GP Premium 2.5.1
    • GenerateBlocks 2.0.1
    • GenerateBlocks Pro 2.0.0

For trial I installed the “Wellness” sample from your site library.

On the Wellness homepage there is a “Flex Container”:

    Flex Container

How do I create such a container?

    Please assist.

    Kind regards,
    Jörn.

  • Hi there,

It’s just a container, the Flex Container is the label of the block, you can add/edit/remove it by clicking the 3 dots icon, and click Rename:

To set a container to be display:flex, you can do so in the Styles panel in the right side bar, you will find the option under layout panel (first panel).

  • Hi Ying,

    Arrrrg.

In fact, all tutorials I found described how to use the flex technique. No mention the the label “Flex Container” is generated by a renaming.

My impression was that “Flex Container” is something which I could reach straight away from the list of block items.

Thanks for putting me back on the track.

Have a nice day and thanks for your support.

    Regards,
    Jörn.

  • You are welcome and thanks 🙂
