How to install fonts in Font Library after installing a demo theme that is using a set of fonts?
I tried adding those fonts in the Font Library but I got duplicates listed in Customizer, maybe because I installed the Font Library only after installing the demo site, or else? -

Hi there,
What do you mean by duplicates? If you install the same font, it should replace the existing one — it shouldn’t create a duplicate.
Check whether the existing fonts have a Trash icon beside them. If they do, that means they are loaded via the Google Fonts API. You can remove those and use the Font Library versions instead.

Clarification.
1. Installed a site from the Library.
2. Two fonts we used in Customizer/Typography
3. Realized that I haven’t enabled the Font Library item so I enabled it afterwards and added one of the fonts (Oswald) to see what happens.
4. Went back to Typography and noticed that Oswald displays now twice:

In other words, please explain how to proceed in the future with Sites in the Library and the Font Library. -
Yes, that’s normal. The Java site is older and was built before the Font Library feature existed, so it still uses the Customizer Typography settings for its custom font.
Since you’ve activated the Font Library module and installed the same font, you can remove the duplicate font.

I’m not sure I want to do this. I just tested and deleting this font in Customizer completely removes it from styles, and you’ll have to re-assign all of them. Doesn’t make much sense.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that. You’ll need to reassign the fonts in the Typography settings when you switch the font system. Sorry for not mentioning that earlier.
