Footer Dynamic Container

  • Hi there,

I have this shortcode to display a portable hook like a newsletter or membership plan, and it works fine.
    [portable_hook hook_name=”my_hook_personalized”]

Now, I need to create another shortcode to display a portable Hook. if a user is logged in it shows a contact form and if he is logged in it shows another form, so,

could I use the same shortcode?
    [portable_hook hook_name=”my_hook_personalized”]

or would I have to use a new hook_name?
    [portable_hook hook_name=”my_footer_hook”].

  • Hi there,

    you can either:

    a) use the same hook IF – the forms are to be placed on the same pages and in the same place.

    or

    b) use a NEW Hook IF – the forms are to be placed somewhere else.

If you’re not sure – go with B
