Footer Element Disappeared after minor link edit

  • Hi. We were updating the Subscribe button link in our whatcommilliontrees.org website footer via the “Footer Template” Element that we have long had. Somehow after doing that edit and saving/publishing, the footer no longer appears on all of our webpages except our home page. What happened, and how can it be fixed? Thanks.

  • Hi there,

The login credentials you provided aren’t working.

In the meantime, you can check the Site Footer element’s Display Rules — it’s possible that Pages are excluded there.

  • See corrected credentials below. Unfortunately, it’s been so long since I’ve been in Elements that I don’t see where Display Rules is located.

  • The issue is indeed caused by the Display Rules location. You’ll need to remove the Page from the Exclude section in the Footer Template element.

You can follow this short video for reference:

  • Excellent, thanks! Solved. I had forgot those settings were sitting way below our footer image!!

  • No problem, glad to hear that! 🙂
