My footer block-hook will not open. All other elements open without an issue. The element continues to provided an error message “page unresponsive”

That’s strange. Do you remember what content was added to that element?
If not then can you try disabling all plugins except for GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to eliminate conflicts from elsewhere?
I don’t think this can be a GP-related issue – otherwise, it would happen to every element.

The content is our website footer content (containers, images, text). All my other elements that contain the same type of content open without any issue.
Deactivated all plugins except GP Premium and GBlocks and this did not resolve the issue. After disabling Blocks and BlocksPro – I was able to open the element. I was able to turn these back on and the problem has resolved itself.

That sounds super strange.
Just curious, were there any reuseable blocks in there?

Yes, the problem was resolved after turning off all blocks plugins and turning them back on.
