Hi there,
I imported an design named “Info” from site library.
The front page can be viewed normally if I click “Appearance/Customize”.However, if I view it with the site URL link(FRONTPAGE LINK), then the layouts can’t be displayed as we expected.
I recorded a video below.
Is there anything I missed?thanks

Hi there,
It seems that the CSS from GenerateBlocks is not loading. Could you try regenerating the CSS in the GenerateBlocks > Settings section?
-
I tried both, GenerateBlocks > Settings
1.external file>regenerate files >save
2.inline embedding> savestill doesn’t work.
-

Try disabling any caching plugins to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please provide an admin login so we can take a closer look.
-
I deleted everything and reinstall all of them again.
This time, I swtich to :
GenerateBlocks > Settings > CSS Print Method>inline embedingit works now.
May I ask what is the difference between CSS external fileand inline embeding?
where is the external file located? -
Alvind
Great to hear that!
External file: A CSS file will be created with the generated CSS and placed in your
wp-content/generateblocks
folder.Inline Embedding: The CSS will be added directly within the HTML as inline styles.

Hello there,
I can’t find wp-content/generateblocks folder.
Should I find it in wp-content/plugins/generateblocks?what would be the filename of it?
Besides, I was thinking that it may be the problem of folder/file permission?
If I can find it, should I set the file permission to “755”? -
I also found :
GP> Appearance>Customize>General>Dynamic CSS Print Method
There are also options for inline embeding and External files.
If I switch to External files, then the logo on cover page can be displayed in proper size.Is this related to Generateblocks/Settings/CSS Print Method?

Hi there,
You will find the CSS file here:
/wp-content/uploads/generateblocks/style-504.css
And No, this:
GP> Appearance>Customize>General>Dynamic CSS Print Method
is not related to GenerateBlocks, that is for the theme only. -
Hi there,
I just found one thing, which may be related to use external files or inline embedding for CSS styling, either GB or GP.
Settings/media/Uploading Files/Store uploads in this folder
I set a specific folder for media files, it’s not the default folder.Does this affect the displaying while choosing “external files”?
In this case, how could I still use “external file” for both GB and GP?thanks
-
Alvind
How did you change the default upload folder?
If configured correctly, there shouldn’t be any issues. You can verify if the CSS file is loading on the frontend through the browser’s inspector tool.
-
CSS for GB:
Generateblocks/Settings/CSS Print Method
This is saved to Settings/media/Uploading Files/Store uploads in this folder=>yes. this is loading on the frontend.
CSS for theme:
GP> Appearance>Customize>General>Dynamic CSS Print Method
where is this saved to? -
It’s in
wp-content/uploads/generatepress
-
YES. I can find the CSS file in the folder for the theme.
However, if It is not loading while displaying the page.1.a specific folder for media upload folder => YES. for example: wp-content/media
2.CSS file was generated to the folder wp/content/generatepress
3.while viewing the page, CSS file for the theme is not loading. The mage and video link are pasted below. FYI.
