Hello GP People,
I have a strange behaviour on my site.
I imported the SPACE starter template.I am using
– WPGridbuilder
– Borlabs Cookie
– ACF Pro
to create a privacy friendly directory site.I created a CPT for services (Anbieter).
That CPT has custom fields which are queried in the post template.
All fields are being shown except for the ACF images.I have set up and queried ACF images in other installs in the past and it works so I’m at a loss why they don’t get shown on this site.
I have provided login details and a short video in the private information section.
Maybe you will be able to look at it and give me pointers to what isn’t working.I have found no plugin conflict so far regarding this issue.
There may be another issue on this site though for which I added a separate video because maybe it is related to the query loop block and something for you to look at. Let me explain:
– I’m using a WPGridbuilder Map Facet on the front page to filter results that are being output via the GB query loop
– filtering works, even with chained filters
– for privacy reasons I have to use a consent management solution and I use Borlabs Cookie
– if you allow the map cookies the map doesn’t filter the Generateblocks query loop anymore
So maybe this is an issue with WPGridBuilder or the Generateblocks query loop needs to be changed somehow. Maybe it’s a bug, maybe it’s a Gridbuilder issue. If you have any idea I’d be very grateful.I only put both of this issues in the same post because it’s the same page and maybe they are somehow related. We can tackle each one individually and maybe the second issue is none regarding GB at all.

For the images: Please select
Bild-URLas the Rückgabeformat for each image. They should display normally.For the other issue, it certainly looks like the cookie plugin is somehow affecting the integration between the GB query loop and WPGridbuilder. Until the WPGridbuilder developer gets back to you, can you enable the debug logging in Borlabs Cookie plugin, maybe we will be able to see in System->Logs.
Now, looking at the existing plugin logs and using a translation tool, I can see that because the plugin license has expired they might be some limited functionality (Certain features won’t work). Could that actually be an issue, I wonder…

First of all: using image-url (Bild-URL) has actually solved the display issue.
I’m maximally confused because that was one of the first things I tried in solving that and it didn’t resolve it last night. It does now. So I’m happy. Thank you.Actually all plugins have an active license. Maybe while deactivating them and reactivating I have to re-confirm some of them. But all should work flawlessly.
Regarding WPGridbuilder: Loic (the developer) is only kinda helpful: he came back to me saying that I don’t need consent when using OpenStreetMaps. That was all he said relating consent plugins and the issues I reported to him.
I don’t think he will pay my legal fees so I’m going with my lawyer and use a consent solution and have Borlabs Support have a look at what doesn’t work.Thank you so much, I’m glad that it doesn’t seem to be an issue with Generateblocks.
