Getting crazy load since upgrading to 2.5.0, I didn’t notice it till this past few days as our traffic sluffed off a lot during the holidays, this past week as we head back to our usual traffic patterns of 100K+ users daily the load keeps going nuts, using WP Engine so finding info is rough but we finally found variations of the following hitting thousands of times per minute. This one added the MySQL server gone as it had stopped responding due to so many loops.
Error listed in the private info box below. I can dig up plenty more logs where that came from, I started hitting recent plugin updates and when I rolled Pro back to 2.4.0 the error stopped instantly and the load started to drop to normal sane levels.

Are you using any pro 2.5 features like condition, overlay, site header, navigation block etc?

No clue, I keep it running, not responsible for the building of it. I reset each Publish Press Plugin also to be sure to previous version and none stopped the issue, I re-installed 2.5.0 and the error returned. Site is wdwnt.com
